Send Us Your Stories
Please get in touch and send us your stories, no matter how trivial you think they may be.
We may edit some submissions if the content is too identifiable or if we feel that discriminatory language has been used; because let's be honest, none of us is perfect!
If you've managed to get a positive outcome from your experience, please include this in your story
so that others in similar situations can learn how they too might affect change.
We need your voices to make sure we're heard!
One or two stories are easy to dismiss, but if we can catalogue the thousands of ways in which the LGBTQ2S+ community is discriminated against by the healthcare system,
then we can't keep being ignored.
If you prefer, you can contact us via email or twitter

Please read the Privacy and Security statement before submitting your story.
By submitting content to us, you are consenting for us to use your story on this website and also in any future publications or media content (always anonymously).
Are you ready to join the Queer Hellth Street Team?
Are you passionate about queer health and keen to help us reach a wider audience? Then read on!
We need your help to find discriminatory healthcare stories for our blog and to share them with your communities. Check out the volunteer job description below.
The more people we reach, the louder our voices become!
Street Team Volunteer Job Description
We know that free time is a luxury right now, which is why we don't ask for any kind of commitment from our Queer Hellth Street Team Volunteers.
All we ask is that you do the following as often as you can, even if it's just once per year!
Have an active Twitter account which you use on a semi-regular basis (i.e. 2-3 times per week)
Provide us with your handle, which we will then use to tag you when we post our stories, with the expectation that you will like and retweet our posts
Tag us in any Tweets you see that contain queer discrimination in healthcare so we can feature them in our blog
And that's it!
We won't bombard you with Tweets, or make any demands on your time. We just hope that with your help, our healthcare stories will reach a wider audience and provide a voice for our community.
So if this sounds like something you might be interested in, please fill out the form below and we'll be in touch!
As a volunteer organisation we rely on donations to keep this site up and running.
Without your support we wouldn't be able to do this, so a huge thank you to each and every person who has donated to us.
